I think it’s fairly safe to say that most people like avocados. And why not? They are a GREAT source of whole plant fats along with other important nutrients, so naturally guacamole is the best because the avocado gets to be the star of the show!
Guacamole isn’t the only way I enjoy avocados, though. Because they are so creamy, they also make an excellent addition to cream sauces, like the Avocado Sour Cream I used to garnish my Vegan Spinach, Corn, and Black Bean Enchiladas.
But guacamole has a special place in my heart.
I used to be terrified to try guacamole because I thought it being creamy and green was weird and gross, but I have since learned the error of my ways.
Younger me had no idea how wrong she was.
And this guacamole recipe is special because it uses peach puree to add a little something extra to a classic dip! Peaches are one of my favorite fruits, and when I can find fresh, ripe peaches I am in LOVE. But luckily for you and me, microwave/thawed frozen peaches work too and taste just as amazing!
(Ssshh don’t tell anyone. I don’t want to lose my street cred.)
I’m just not always patient enough to wait for peach season. Heck, I’m not even patient enough to wait for peaches to ripen on my counter! When I need this guacamole, I need it ASAP.
Frozen Peaches = Peach Guacamole Year-Round.
That’s a pretty sweet deal, I think.

Have a lovely avocado-filled day!
- 2 small avocados
- ¼ cup peach puree
- ¼ cup chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon lime juice*
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cumin
- Optional garnishes: Cilantro & Chopped Peaches
- Mash your avocado in a small/medium bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir until everything is thoroughly mixed.
- Dig in!
